Submissions
Submission Preparation Checklist
All submissions must meet the following requirements.
- This submission meets the requirements outlined in the Author Guidelines.
- This submission has not been previously published, nor is it before another journal for consideration.
- All references have been checked for accuracy and completeness.
- All tables and figures have been numbered and labeled.
- Permission has been obtained to publish all photos, datasets and other material provided with this submission.
Original Research Articles
Original Research Articles report novel findings from experimental, observational, analytical, or modeling studies.
They must include:
- Clear research objectives
- Robust and reproducible methodology
- Rigorous data analysis
- Scientifically valid conclusions
Required structure:
Abstract – Introduction – Materials and Methods – Results – Discussion – Conclusion
Each section must be clearly separated. Results must present data only, while Discussion must interpret findings.
Review Articles
Review Articles provide critical synthesis of existing or emerging research.
They must:
- Identify knowledge gaps
- Evaluate existing literature
- Synthesize scientific evidence
- Propose future research directions
Types include:
- Systematic Reviews
- Meta-Analyses
- Thematic Reviews
- Conceptual Reviews
Short Communications
Short Communications present concise reports of important findings requiring rapid dissemination, including:
- Preliminary results
- Novel biogeographical or ecological observations
- New species distribution records
- Unexpected climate–ecosystem interactions
- Emerging environmental or climatic phenomena
Technical Notes / Methods Papers
Technical Notes describe new methods, tools, or analytical approaches, including:
- Environmental monitoring systems
- Climate and weather data acquisition methods
- Analytical and modelling workflows
- Remote sensing and geospatial tools
- Ecological and environmental forecasting tools
Case Studies
Case Studies present real-world applications of environmental, ecological, or climate-related interventions, emphasizing practical outcomes, system responses, and lessons learned for understanding biogeographical and meteorological processes.
Perspectives
These articles provide expert opinion on:
- Emerging scientific issues
- Policy debates
- Future research directions
- Conceptual developments

These articles provide expert opinion on:

Data Papers
Data Papers describe well-documented datasets deposited in public repositories.
They must include:
